The Commission Process
1. Inquiry
Reach out through the [Contact Page] or via email to share your idea or vision. No pressure — just a conversation to get started.
2. Consultation
We’ll discuss your goals, artistic preferences, subject matter, size, and ideal timeline. I’ll help guide you through style and medium options based on your needs.
3. Proposal & Quote
Once I understand the scope, I’ll provide a personalized quote and a detailed Commission Agreement outlining terms, timeline, and process.
4. Deposit & Scheduling
A 35% deposit secures your place in my calendar. I’ll then begin preliminary work — usually starting with a complimentary digital sketch for your approval.
5. Creation
Once plans are finalized, I’ll begin crafting your original Artwork. You’ll receive updates along the way and opportunities for adjustments during key phases.
6. Delivery
After completion, your Artwork will be professionally prepared for delivery — ready for display, with care instructions included.
Media Options
I work primarily with traditional media to suit your subject and style:
- Oil Painting
- Ink or Graphite
Each medium is chosen for its visual character and durability, and all materials used are archival-quality.

Investment & Timeline
Commission pricing is based on size, complexity, and medium.
Quotes typically start around $700 for small works and increase accordingly.
Most projects take 8–12 weeks depending on complexity and medium (oil paintings require longer drying time). I’ll provide an estimated timeline during the consultation stage.
